Your Role
Lincoln International is seeking a Dutch-speaking Analyst to join our rapidly growing, entrepreneurial M&A practice in the Benelux, consisting of >25 Dutch and Belgian investment bankers. Successful candidates have excellent analytical and interpersonal abilities, want to develop their professional and personal skills and are motivated by the prospect of further building a leading M&A advisory firm.

The Analyst position at Lincoln International provides an excellent opportunity to work in a demanding, yet supportive, team-oriented environment. In addition to mastering the financial analysis and research skills typical for the position, an Analyst at Lincoln International learns about and becomes involved in a transaction from start to finish. The Analyst serves as the analytical anchor for his/her deal team and is responsible for preparing, completing and ensuring the accuracy of all financial modeling and analysis. The Analyst is expected to interpret the results of his/her financial analysis, pose questions and draw conclusions. In addition, the Analyst plays a critical role in the preparation of client presentations and is responsible for:

  • Performing financial analyses and valuations
  • Conducting industry research
  • Identifying potential buyers or acquisition targets
  • Preparing confidential information memoranda, management presentations and other marketing materials
  • Interacting with senior bankers and clients’ senior executives
  • Participating in new business meetings
  • Supporting senior bankers during transaction negotiations
  • Facilitating due diligence and transaction closings
  • Leading or implementing initiatives focused on growing the firm’s franchise value

You Offer
The Analyst position at Lincoln International offers an excellent learning experience and provides a solid foundation upon which an individual can build a future business career. Interested candidates should bring the following requirements:

  • Prior M&A advisory or Private Equity related experience, as part of previous internships or other initial roles
  • An exceptional, well rounded academic background, ideally educated to Masters level in a business related subject
  • Fluent in Finance and Accountancy
  • Great analytical skills and attention to detail, along with a willingness to develop and learn.
  • Solid and growing understanding of business models and sectors coupled with a notable grasp of corporate strategy and themes related to company growth and development
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach, with a commitment to personal growth, underpinned through professional and academic excellence as well as other pursuits and personal projects.
  • Adaptability, dependability and the ability to manage a dynamic workload.
  • Clear and engaging communication skills- verbally as well as written. Is able to relate and connect to other stakeholders quickly- clients, management teams and LI colleagues
  • Collaborative style and a personally engaging manner, coupled with a sense of humour
  • International experiences and perspectives. 
  • Excellent written and spoken Dutch and English skills, other European Languages are a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
